VSS Import Error

Well, I'm slowly getting my DB imported in stages (10 days and
counting), but now I've hit a snag.
 
Got two branches in the VSS DB that are outright refusing to import.
They prescan, but when I start the actual import, the VSS toll crashes
on me.
 
Here's the error text....
 
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance
of an object.

One thing to note is that I got a lot of label conflicts, and ratehr
than rename them, I chose to just ignore bringing in the labels (well,
andthing in red I just cleared, all other labels I imported)
 
Anybody got any bright ideas why I get this or how to get around it?
