I was hoping for a wildcard so that I could create a universal build
script that didn't need to be tweaked to much to use on different
projects. So what you are saying is that the only way it would be
possible would be to check out each AssemblyInfo file independently?
And then check each one in independently?

Can't I at least get commit to check in all pending changes?

I haven't figured out how to do this through the command line.

The cmdline client can do checkout and checkin, but
I don't think you can combine this feature with any
sort of wildcard. The 2.0 version of the client
does have wildcare support, but only for get, not
for checkout.

Still, I think it will be possible to do what you
want, albeit without the convenience of matching
a pattern.

Is there anyway through the command line to checkout all files in a
certain
folder and its subfolders that match a certain pattern?

What I am trying to accomplish is to check out all AssemblyInfo.cs files
under a certain project in vault. Then check all the AssemblyInfo files
back in.

I am trying to do this with a build script so that I can increment all
the
versions of all projects in a particular solution.
