I'll have to take a look at this before I can
respond intelligently. More later...

Subject: [vault-list] Merging query.

Hi,

I've been doing some merging between branches with Vault 2.0 and it works
real nice, esp. being able to merge both ways. Very cool.

This is my first general experience with merging as we don't bother under
VSS. I was surprised to find that checkin comments were not carried across
with the merge though, not even just concatenated together as one mega
checkin comment. Is this to be expected?

What's the chances of getting that added to the feature request list? It
would save a lot of bother as its quite feasible for me to be merging 6
months of changes from 1500+ source files. I would have to give them the
checkin comment of 'merged changes from blah blah' because it's just too
much to have to go thru and figure out the individual changes for each file.
