RE: moving a vault installation

don:

it will only work one way....   
1)  upgrade your existing vault installation, then 
2) move the 'upgraded' database.  

the installation routine is the process which physically updates your database.  if you installed 2.0 on a new machine, and restored a 1.x database, the database would never get upgraded.
