It was even shorter-lived than that: on 2009-12-31 (r5023), you
updated the svn:external link.  So it's possible checkout cvs2svn >=
r5023 without problems.  I sent a whine-o-gram to
[email protected] anyways.

Not a problem.  Mercurial knows how to track merges.  ;-)  The real
nightmare will be turning my hg history into a nice linear sequence of
patches that you guys can process easily.  I started that last year,
but have been busy with other things since then.  Still need to
implement Max's request for how I dummy-merge tag fixup commits.
(Which I will do: I think he's right.  Just don't know when.)
