Hi Mirek,

We've had some success with this kind of migration.  We copied our entire repository to a Linux box for the purposes of the migration, but if you have access to (a copy of) the repo it might still work on Windows, with the appropriate tools.  I'm about two weeks away from putting this into Production, at which point I intend to add some comments to the FAQ.  This thread may help:
