Python version for cvs2svn on AIX....

Hello All,
        We are attempting to convert cvs 2 svn on AIX platform. One of the 
requirement as mentioned on the tigris website 
(http://cvs2svn.tigris.org/cvs2svn.html) is the Python version 2.4 or 
higher and less than 3.x. So I decided to download the Python binaries for 
AIX from the Python website (http://www.python.org/download/other/). But 
the highest version I noticed was Python 2.2 for the AIX platform. I need 
help figuring this out.
