Re: migration from Sloaris to Windows XP to Linux

You should be able to just use the CVS/RCS dump directly on the Solaris system. Thus you only have to transport the dump file, not the entire contents.
As Mike said, you don't want to use CVSNT so this removes the entire need to do so.

Also, Subversion does run on Solaris, as does the cvs2svn script; so you should be able to test the everything there too before you do the actual conversion.
