I did look at it, but the test case is still so complicated that trying
to analyze it would take quite a bit of time and more information from
you.  I will send you a separate email telling how you can make the test
case more useful.

This would be throwing out the baby with the bathwater.  In older days
this is what cvs2svn did, and the result was much more complicated
output repositories.

I am optimistic that your problem can be fixed and there is no need for
such an option.
