CVSsuck kinda works for backup

Hi all,

Thanks for the tip about CVSsuck
<http://cvs2svn.tigris.org/faq.html#repoaccess> - My CVS repository was
hosted at CERN, and for some reason I didn't have filesystem access
anymore. CVSsuck is available in the Ubuntu repositories, and it worked
like a charm with commands like `cvssuck -v
:pserver:[email protected]:/local/reps/REPOSITORY MODULE`.

I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding what it does though, because there
were no CVSROOT directories in the result. cvs2git therefore reports
"ERROR: the path '...' is not a CVS repository, nor a path within a CVS
repository.  A CVS repository contains a CVSROOT directory within its
root directory."
