Hello, I am just posting a success message. I just successfully converted a medium size CVS repo to a git repo using the cvs2git utility. I followed the instructions here: http://cvs2svn.tigris.org/cvs2git.html The only hitch I experienced was one fatal error, something about "file x.txt and file Attic/x.txt,v" cannot exist together in a CVS repository,... deleting (all) the Attic file(s) resolves this. (delete the Attic files, re-run cvs2git command) Many thanks for all your hard work! Thanks, David ------------------------------------------------------ http://cvs2svn.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=1670&dsMessageId=2719005 To unsubscribe from this discussion, e-mail: [[email protected]].
