Please note that CVSNT repositories are not officially supported by
cvs2svn.  That being said, many people have reported successfully
converting CVSNT repositories using cvs2svn.

Please be sure to follow the recommendations in the FAQ [1].  In
particular, remember that you should use the --use-cvs option and ensure
that the "cvs" program that is used for the conversion is the executable
that comes with CVSNT, *not* standard CVS.  AFAIK cvsnt is available
under Linux so that should not be a show-stopper.

I also recommend checking the problematic files out of the repository
using cvs under Windows and Linux to make sure that *they* work.  If
there is a problem on one platform or the other, get that fixed (e.g.,
by marking the files as binary in CVS) before the conversion.
