1. Did you really leave a space between "--" and "dumpfile=..."? This
is incorrect.
2. What did cvs2git print out while running? (Probably it printed an
error message explaining why it stopped before finishing.) If you need
more information, run cvs2git in very verbose mode ("-vvv").
3. Try using the trunk version of cvs2git if you are not already doing so.
