Please be more specific in these communications.  There has never been 
an official 2.4.x release, so I suppose that "cvs2git --version" 
displays "2.4.0-dev", right?  Is the the up-to-date trunk version? 
(E.g., what Subversion revision number does "svn info" print?)

The question is whether cvs2git is producing something invalid, or 
whether "git fast-import" is not accepting valid input.  We can't even 
distinguish between these possibilities without both the dumpfile and 
the fast-import crash file.  But to fix the problem, we need you to 
generate a minimal failing test case (as described in the FAQ [1]) and 
send *that* to the list.
