The OP requested to use the PC name, which I think would be more meaningful to users than an IP address, but I think that neither of these would provide the best approach, because users may have multiple working copies on the same computer. I don't know what a better approach is, but it should be something that doesn't create a privacy problem but allows users to see where they've set the lock in a meaningful way.
