svncpp Client on a specific (local) directory

Hi,

How can I create an svncpp Client object on a specific directory?

I know that if I chdir() first, then it works, but I can't do that,
because I want to have multiple (and constantly changing)
Client objects in a multi-threaded environment, and cwd is
shared among all the threads.
