In our shop we are maintaining several applications that are being developed
using wxWidgets 2.8.9 in combination with VS 2005 Express so I feel pretty
confident this should work. And about VS6: the files are still in place. So even
if we stop actively maintaining them it should be easy to adapt them to newer
subversion versions. Usually its mostly updating paths or lib names.
