If two users (User A and User B) are using Rapid svn,

User A makes changes and commits code in svn server,
User B has no way to know which of his files are different than that at the
server.

Rather User B has no way to know changes made by user A

Most Svn clients allow users to "synchronize", this means that a call is made
to the server and then ther user's files are compared with that of the server's
now all files in user's machine that differ from that of the server are now
known.

Rapid svn too can be used, but user has to perform an "update" command and end
up with modifications made to his own files. this is very undersirable.
