I'll add my support for this enhancement request.  I have around 15 repositories
checked out and they tend to be checked out into a fairly deep directory on my
filesystem.  So finding the checked out repository I want from from the list of
bookmarks takes longer and more concentration than it should.  I would
definitely like to see:
 - arbitrary names for bookmarks in addition to the existing checkout file path
 - some mean by which a user may organize checkouts (e.g. folders/projects), such as
   development
     current
       Project678
       Skunk Works
       AdminServer
     archived
       Project612
       SNMP Prototype
       ...
   management
     Proposals
     Support Services
   infrastructure
     Facility Plans
