Well, maybe the feature will be added anytime in the feature.
But now there already is an easy way to find new files:
Uncheck the menu "View->Show unmodified entries",
check the menu "View->Show subdirectories",
check the menu "View->Show unversioned entries".

No you see all the added or non-added files.
