Why does RapidSVN connect to the server even when it appears unnecessary?

My SVN repo is on a distant server that is very slow. For unknown reasons RapidSVN connects to it every time I navigate in the bookmark/repo tree, or basically perform any action whatsoever (including actions that should not require a server roundtrip). This makes it very slow to use RapidSVN. I have been unable to find a configuration option for this, and I've removed every single column in the list view except for the name in case that would help, but to no avail. Questions: 1. Is there a way to configure RapidSVN to only connect to the server when it's absolutely necessary (basically only on commit & update) 2. If not, would it be possible to put in a feature request for such an option? Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------ http://rapidsvn.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=671&dsMessageId=2442902 To unsubscribe from this discussion, e-mail: [[email protected]].
