Error trying to connect

Hey.

I've worked with subversion for a couple of years now, with client only
on the windows side, this is my first time with a gui client on linux
debian (mint)

I'm trying to connect to a brand new repository locates at <machine
name>/svn/repos and getting this error:  

Error: Error while updating filelist (Repository moved permanently to
'http://handschu.homedns.org/svn/repos/'; please relocate)


I've done everything I know, had been countless hours browsing the
internet but can get it to work, any suggestion will be greatly
appreciated.
