Moving from multiple scp to using svn

I have been using RapidSVN for a while for two very small projects very 
successfully (so a big thank you to all involved).

Now I want to use it for my research and thesis. I work on this from 
four machines in different locations, and until now I have been using 
scp at the start and end of a session to copy relevant files from or to 
one of the machines which I treat as the master.

Some months ago, I appear to have created a repository on my SVN server 
(using submin) and I obviously added my files from one of my machines 
(must have had some spare time to play with this, but I forget when).

Now I want to bring the directories on all four machines under SVN 
control. This means in effect a 4-into-1 sync, so that the SVN server 
will end up with all files with the latest dates, and I can then update 
the four machines and take it from there.

All my machines are running ntpd, so I think the dates should be safe.

On the machine where I did use RapidSVN to add the files, there had been 
a few edits, so I did another add and ci from the command line, as I 
couldn't figure out how to make RapidSVN do this.

On the other machines I now want to add the repository and the 
directory, and then add only the files that are more recent than the SVN 
copy. How do I do this using RapidSVN?
