Can't Checkout the code - Gives error "could not connect to server"

Dear Team,

We have successfully compiled the source code of RapidSVN version 0.12 on H=
P-UX machine and the RadpidSVN application was launched without any issues.=
 However, the application crashes while we try to use the functionalists =
=E2=80=9CSwitch URL=E2=80=9D under Repository menu and =E2=80=9CSwitch Repo=
sitory URL=E2=80=9D under Bookmark menu.

We are able to browse the Repositories, but while we try to Checkout the co=
de it throws below error.

Error: Error while performing action: Unable to connect to a repository at =
URL 'http://xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/svn/svnrepo/'
OPTIONS of 'http://xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/svn/svnrepo/': could not connect to ser=
ver (http://xxx.xxx.xxx:8080).

I tried to enter the IP address in the http-proxy-host under Global setting=
s of servers file present within my profile directory. But, even this could=
 not resolve the issue.

Could you please kindly look into this issue and provide an a solution.
