Subversion <-> Subclipse version compatibility

My organization uses Eclipse Juno SR1 (running on XP machines) and Subversion 1.4 (running on a Unix machine). 

What is the highest version of Subclipse 1.6.x, 1.7.x, 1.8.x) I can use in Eclipse to connect to my Subversion repository?
