Turns out my Eclipse preferences must have been corrupted. It said the color for incoming changes was set to blue, but it was actually using black for whatever reason. I changed it to another color, and then back to blue. Now the SVN (and CVS) merge editors show incoming changes in blue, as expected.

(BTW, the captcha on this site is impossible! This is my fourth try.)
