hi all, the same issue has been already discussed in this forum. the issue was discussed under, Luther Miller [email protected] Wed, 22 Oct 2003 16:21:21 -0700 Previous message: [SOS-LIST] FW: Could not open file XXXXXX. Error Num=2 Next message: [SOS-LIST] Get Latest Version not always getting latest version? Messages sorted by: [ date ] [ thread ] [ subject ] [ author ] (FROM: http://lists.sourcegear.com/pipermail/sos-list/2003-October/009884.html) lemme describe my situation. we have SOS integrated into SOS. user A edits a file and chks in the file. now when user B tried to do "get latest version', he does not get the latest version of the file. the above mentioned thread suggests to do a "Force File transfer". any other ideas or fix for this...? i also ud like to get clrify the following doubts... * our users (developers) start SOS > do project tree refresh > start .NET > chks out the file in .NET solution explorer window > edits the file. Now shud they 'save' the file or do chk in...? if they save the file any issues...? is there any chaces tht the issue we r facing, may occur due to any other issue with the Working Folder (SOS) and project Folder (.NET). i chked for folders (Working and project) and found tht both are same. So, you guys have any idea, plz suggest. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.. rgds, sHIVAPRASADp -- _______________________________________________ Get your free email from http://www.dellmail.com
