Thanks for your feedback about SOS. SOS communicates with the VSS database 
via the SourceSafe API, so SOS is limited by that API.  There's always room 
for improvement, though.

Network flakiness can cause a problem for SOS.

Both of these are good suggestions -- we'll have to see if this is possible 
with the API.
Certainly cloaking folders you don't want to get would save a lot of time 
overall.
