I am doing a service pack to a previous release of some software and followed the instructions in the VSS Help to Share, Pin, and Branch. Then later, from the SOS Client I accidentially UnPinned some files, so I went to Pin them again. The first one pinned fine, but on the second one, the SOS client went to 100% CPU when I clicked on Pin. I killed in Task Manager, ran the SOS client again, tried again, same thing. Rinse and repeat. Anyway, I was able to do it from the VSS client instead eventually, so it wasn't an issue in the long run. Anyhow, we are the using the latest and greatest (non-beta) SOS server (Win 2k) and SOS clients, and yes, Pinning is enabled on the server. VSS on the server is 6.0d with patches. Also, it became annoyingly obvious today that when I view the history of a file, the Label is not displayed (just the comments) - to see the Label, I have hit Details. Is there a way to add the Label to the list of columns displayed in the History? (Or, will that be part of the next release?) _____________________________________________________________ Luther Miller * Project Manager * MCSD (.NET) Softagon Corporation * www.softagon.com 1 Pier Ste 1 * San Francisco, CA 94111 (415)733-9584 * (510)387-3490 cell * (415)394-9001 fax
