You shouldn't have to define the computer name in the Optional tab unless
the hostname lookup fails. Try leaving it blank and see if that works for
you as it did with SOS 3.5.

In the SOS Client under Tools->Options-> Files->Handle conflicts with
locally modified files, what setting are you using? To make sure your local
files don't get overwritten, you can choose Do not Overwrite, Merge Later.
