Corey, the "Connect to server" dialog ALWAYS appears. I'm using VC++6.0sp5 on = WindowsXPsp1. The behaviour is identical on a Windows2000 workstation. Once again, I'm never prompter when using the SourceOffsite client = application (I mean outside Visual Studio). I've done some tests with the 4.0 and 3.0 clients and servers before = switching to 4.0. May be one of them hasn't been properly uninstalled = and cause the problem. The 'Connect automatically' is checked, both = Server and port are filled; is there something else to setup somewhere ? Please note that ONLY the 'Connect to server' dialog appears, the login = window has only be displayed once. There does seem to be a bug in the SOS 4 IDE Client in regard to auto-connect. Here's what I found: 1. The first time you add a new project to source control after starting VS.NET, you get prompted for the server even if you have auto-connect enabled. 2. After the first time, if you add another new project to source control without restarting VS.NET (still the same session), you do not get prompted. 3. Once a project is bound to source control, you are never prompted at all. Is that the same behavior you are seeing?
