integration / source gear

Hello.

Does Vault or other S.O.S provide a
integration layer (API) that can be 
used to integrate other products?

We are the makers of a VBA Source Control tool and
have a source gear user that would
like to use the source gear product as
the provider and use our tool from within
VBA (as it is designed to do).  Our tool
currently works
with the VSS 6.0 API

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
