RE: Slow response in Visual Studio .NET 2003

    I installed version 4.0 to test and although the server was still
running version 3.5.3 the client was able to connect and check in and out
files. When I loaded the VS IDE, it kept giving me a source offsite error
message saying invalid password. I was unable to even enter my password as
this message comes up right away and would not go away. Clicking ok or the
close button made it go away for a second and then it pops right back up. I
had to force quit visual studio. Also when I set version 3.5.3 back to my
default provider visual studio had dis associated itself from source
control. i.e. I no longer had a source control menu choice under the file
menu. I was forced to reinstall version 3.5.3 to get that back. Upgrading
our server in the UK to 4.0 is not really an option at the moment since we
are in production mode. hope this helps

release address this speed issue? I would be happy to install it and try as
long as there is not a chance of data corruption.
