major error

All of a sudden, I am receiving an SOS error when trying to load my
solution.  Everything seems to be going along just fine, and then I get an
error that says something like "Error accessing source control.  Please
check installation."  I then receive a series of warnings, and then Visual
Studio crashes.

 

I have never had any problems like this before.  This seems to have come up
out of nowhere!!!

 

Also, is there a reason that I am asked to log in over and over while SOS
loads a solution?  Is there a way to log in only once?

 

I would really appreciate any support on this issue that I can get.  The
other developer on my team is not experiencing this problem.
