Diff problems

Hello,

when doing a project diff, a copy of the local directory is created. So all the actions performed on the supposed local directory have no effect.
I mean :
if I have a file localy and not remotely, it appears on the local directory. Removing it has no effect, as my local directory has been duplicated to a temp directory.

Is there a mandatory reason for this ? Couldn't the 'real' local directory be used ?

Moreover it seems that the remote files are always retrieved even if their counterpart doesn't exist localy. As they are missing, I think that you could avoid to transmit them.
