I use Blender on an IBM Thinkpad T42p, and apart from a few issues with the lack of a numeric keypad (there is one, but it's part of the alpha keypad, so I have to use numlock to switch back and forth), it's quite usable. Make sure you have a three-button mouse, though - I've found it difficult to use a two-button mouse (even with Emulate3Buttons enabled in my X server). Jim
