Actually, It looks like you're doing a great job getting some basics down.  You've tried out several functions and are doing well with them.  Keep it up.  Soon you'll be combining your knowlege and getting incredible results!

  may I ask where do you want to go with 3D graphics? I do think you're 
  focusing on logo designing. Nevertheless it's a start. Don't give up.

  Anyways, don't bother into commercial softwares unless you're aiming to 
  work in big production company. Blender is too good to be true. I am a 
  max user for years and struggling to move to Blender.
