MacBook Woes

I just bought a new MacBook and of course the first thing I did was
install Blender and begin playing around with it. To my horror I found
that the MacBook has no num-pad functionality! This totally kills the
flow while working within Blender and having to go to my mouse
constantly is a real pain.

Has anyone else run into this problem and is there a work-around?
