It's one thing to model a head, any head, that looks like, well.... just a head. It's a totally different thing to model something that you want to have look like someone else's head. In order for the head to look like your nephew, you'll need more than the geometry (the moel), you'll need good textures. Get some good photos, from front and side and top and back, and use these as a backdrop when tracing major features for making the model. PErsonally, I'd use a tool that's made for exactly this: tracxe outlines of the major body parts like the ears, head, nose, neck,... and have it done in sch a way that it will build a decent mesh and texture map the underlying photo right onto that mesh. The easiest way I know to do this is with Archipelis Designer, a $37-$45 tool (around that price). You can turn a photo of your nephew's teddy bear into a 3D model for use in games, Second Life, and other 3D worlds in just a few seconds: http://www.thebest3d.com/archipelis/tutorials -Philip --- In [email protected], "chaitanyasimhadas" <chaitanyasimhadas@...> wrote: > > --- In [email protected], cm J <cmrj_2k@> wrote: > > > > Hi It took me days to work on modeling a head I follow some > tutorials but I really find hardtime in modelling a head.
