--VIW8Q2xovjVEY2wsLc4tbwq-5K9sUAoOpyZ1e9R Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I don't think you can actually make a perfect circle just using the knife t= ool alone, though the more subdivisions you have in the object the better. = Apparently the knife tool will only work on meshes and to use it you should= be in edit vertices mode with everything selected hit shift-k to bring up = the tool and use your LMB to make your cuts. in blender 2.47 you'll have to= hit enter to finish the cut, in 2.5 it'll close the cut when you release t= he mouse. The cut tool will subdivide new verts around the areas you select= ed to cut, more than likely you will need to edit the new verts by hand to = get your desired shape.
