To add the points I needed to click on the "Z Euler Rotation" words, not just the check box. My curves though are much larger than his figures in the book and my Y goes from -90 to +90 so I need to scroll the Graph Editor window even when I have it full screen to move the point where I need to. When I move my point beyond the window the screen doesn't scroll, so I have to temporarily place the point, then scroll the Graph Editor window until I see the point again, then move it again until I can place it where it needs to be for the effect he wants to have happen. My assumption is there must be an easier way to do that, but I've not discovered it yet.
