Summary: CinePaint crashes on "Feather"

Initial Comment:
Hi,

the current CVS version segfaults when creating a selection area with feather active. The same when adding feather to the existing selection (menu /Select/Feather, enter some number, click OK)

gdb says:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x000000000057bfcc in gaussian_blur_area ()

and after exiting gdb:
wire_read: unexpected EOF (plug-in crashed?)

Configuration&compilation log is attached.

I tried to install cinepaint-0.19, but it is the same. I am sure that some time ago feather functionality worked with 0.19, so it could be caused by some updated dependency - hard to say which, I update my system regularly.
