Summary: FLTK not found by configure while it is there

Initial Comment:
Hello,

I downloaded the latest version. started ./configure

and get the following error:

no or too old FTGL found, need FTGL to render text in OpenGL
!!! ERROR !!!
FLTK is not found; download: www.fltk.org

But I have a version of fltk installed:
Name : fltk Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version : 1.1.8 Vendor: Fedora Project
Release : 0.3.r5750.fc6 Build Date: Sun 13 May 2007 12:20:50 AM CEST

I'll try to take a look and find a solution.

J
