Hello,

do we still recommend to place author string and date at top of wiki
documentation page?
My guess is, this will be a barrier for people to take hands on the
content, other than leaving just comments. As well I did not see on other
wiki sites.
Ok, the version history does not track the author as in wikimedia.
For this, we could move the authors history entries to the bottom and make
them optional.

In the same manner I'd like to remove the author and date from the index
on:
http://cinepaint.bigasterisk.com/CinePaintDocumentation

Only the "(external link)" hint is of my taste to the appropriate
links.

I hope the suggestions would make this pages more clear and attractive to
edit.

kind regards
