Cinepaint-developers mail list puzzle

Kai-Uwe,

Since I took over emptying the spam trap from you, I'm seeing alerts 
like below, but when I go to mailman there's nothing pending. Are you 
clearing out the spam trap or is something wacky?

*** BUG DESCRIPTION ************
using paintbrush within a selected area,
if brush-stroke leaves area of selection,
then paint "gathers" or "bounces" on the edge of the selection (still 
within the selection area)
only happens on left and top edge of selection
WHEN
selection has been moved around the canvas so that selection becomes a 
"Floating Selection" in the layers palette

dont know whether this is another bug, but "floating selection" can only 
happen with rectangular selections, trying to drag eliptical selection 
moves the canvas instead (always?)
