Re: Cinepaint in OS X Tiger didn't launch

There are two reasons for these errors.

Having just checked, I see that the binary was not cross compiled to
Tiger, and will only work with Leopard.  I've changed this in all of
the Xcode projects, so in the future any binaries should work with
Leopard or Tiger.

The other problem is that it won't work on PPC machines because of
limitations in GLib and GDK regarding endianness.  I have been able to
convert GLib over to a truely universal binary, but there are still
drawing issues I need to work out in GDK.

It should probably be noted, that the MacintelCinepaint-0.23 binary is
technically a universal binary, so PPC machines go ahead and try to
run it.  It just produces undefined results.  An there is currently no
runtime check of the hardware, so it just crashes badly.

So the short answer is that the current binary on sourceforge will
only work on x86 Leopard machines.
