It's still sitting there waiting for someone to do something. Flixine 
was orphaned long ago. My plan was to take flixine, rename it, and carry 
forward...like I have before when I find cool open source programs that 
have been abandoned. Haven't found time yet.

To distribute it requires packaging it. Do you want to do that?

least one port of xine to mingw and Windows.  Fltk should compile on
Windows, so flixine may run on there, although I'm not sure how good the
support for graphics cards are in the Windows version of xine.  The
Windows version of xine I tried didn't look to good with my ATI All in
Wonder card.  Anyway, was curious if there have been any further
developments on this. >>

CinePaint CVS has a little Windows POSIX compatibility lib I wrote
called libunistd. Using that, Flxine should build on Windows in VC++
with little or no changes.

<< Am also curious if a source tarball of Cinepaint Glasgow will be
available any time soon.  I've never had much luck with accessing
Sourceforge through cvs and would love to try Cinepaint Glasgow out on
Deli Linux and see if it builds. >>

Nobody has reported trouble accessing CVS when following the directions
I provided on the website. Nobody has volunteered to put in the effort
to package a tarball.
