Build fails on Xubuntu

Kai-Uwe,
I'm building CinePaint for the first time on Xubuntu and hitting an
error. Seems to do with the i18n macro _(). You did the gettext code
integration. Output below. Can you tell me what's wrong?
Also, I tried to build from CVS. That fails on line 408 of pdf.cpp when
it can't find oyGetPathFromProfileName() declared. I'm guessing that
you're missing a conditional macro there. Can you fix in CVS so it can
build without oyranos?
One more thing, configure complains it can't find argyll when building
from CVS. Does something need to be done there?
