Sometimes the non-native English thing gets in our way, and this is one 
of those cases. You could written the above in German for as much as I 
can comprehend what you're saying.

I'm baffled what you're trying to say about OpenEXR and Gutenprint in 
regard to a CMS error message dialog box. OpenEXR and Gutenprint are 
broadly supported by distros. Oyranos is not. So?

I understand that your focus is what CMS users see, but I'm addressing 
what happens to CinePaint users who don't have your Oyranos CMS library 
installed. Do you want CMS turned off by default in the preferences 
dialog so CinePaint won't get confused by trying to use CMS when it's 
not there? Or, do you want to change your code with an ifdef so that the 
user will not have to clear two CMS warnings when CMS is not installed? 
What do you want to do?

Looking to the future, are you working toward CMS becoming a standard 
feature? What is the status of official packages of Oyranos for Fedora, 
Debian, Ubuntu, SUSE, Gentoo, and FreeBSD? When will it be supported by 
the yum and apt-get repositories? Is official support coming? Who are 
the packagers you're working with?
