Hi, I was checking
To be correct, you have to:
1) Include a file COPYING with a proper license and choose one license which you will distribute your program's code with.
Most of your files use GPL version 2 in their header.
In the event there are multiple licenses: a) ask the author to change their license or b) note it down (for step 2)

2) Provide a list of which files use which license in your source code. For Debian, they are probably particularly interested in the cinepaint module in cinepaint-project.

I've included a COPYING file from debian with the proper GPLv2 license.
